About Our Services

Buie Funeral Home offers both traditional and non-traditional services. Our basic services include the following: Services of the funeral director and staff, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service, arrangement conference with family and responsible parties, arrangements of funeral, preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, recording vital statistics, preparations and placement of obituary notice, and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in our basic service fees are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenances, taxes, equipment, furnishing, inventory costs, record keeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.
