Annie Flora Davis Wallace affectionately called “Muh”, was born on June 3, 1927 in Hoke County to the late Mary Shaw-Davis and Willie Davis.  Annie Flora attended the public schools of Hoke County.  She earned the name “Muh” because she was a mother to everyone.

Annie Flora met and fell in love with Roy Wallace (Deceased 2001) and was wed in June of 1948.  This union produced six beautiful children. Five boys and one girl. Bobby Lee Wallace, Raymond Wallace (Deceased), David Roy Wallace, John Henry Wallace, Samuel Wallace, Annie Carol Wallace all of Raeford, NC. She loved and raised her niece Pauline Davis of Newark, NJ as her own and also her great nephew Robert Wallace.  Three brothers preceded her in death, John Davis, Ervin Davis and James Davis.  Her surviving siblings are Thurman Purcell of Knightsdale, NC, Maggie Lee Hooper of Jersey City, NJ and Blanch Moore (George) of Raleigh, NC.  She had seventeen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren, one brother in law, two sister in laws and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was a faithful lifetime member of Buffalo Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Raeford, NC.
