Elijah Jr. was born in Hoke County on
January 30, 1960 to the late Mamie Ree
Harris and Elijah Smith, Sr. He was granted
his heavenly wings on November 5, 2016 at
his home in Raeford, NC.
Elijah Jr. was preceded in death by
two sisters, Lula Mae Hines and Gearlener
Henegan; two brothers, Danny Harris and
Charles Hines and two brothers-in-law,
James Henegan and Walter Jefferson.
He is survived by four sisters, Jackie
Barrett, Waltener Jefferson, Gail Headen
and Debbie Smith; one brother, Frank Jr.
Harris (Delois) all of Raeford, NC; a host of
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
