Paula was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

Leaving to cherish her memory are her mother, Edna B. Lewis-Cooper and loving stepfather Deacon Willie J. Cooper.  Siblings:  Parrish D. McLean, Huntersville, NC, Althea Wanza Lewis, Charlotte, NC, and Amanda W. Lewis, Burbank, CA.  Step siblings:  Anita Rupert, Omaha, NE, Donna Cooper, Fairmont, NC, and Bryant Dickey (Sharonda), Villa Rica, GA, God brother, Earnest Carswell, Jr. ,Fayetteville, NC.  She was preceded in death by Rodney Cooper.  She had a special nephew and niece that she called her own, Elijah Lewis and  Samone’ McLean both of Charlotte, NC.  Special care giving aunts:  Gloria J. McBryde, Carolyn McBryde,  Margaret A. McBryde, and Clara Black all of Red Springs, NC.  Uncles:  Nathaniel Black, Jr. (Lillian) Charlotte, NC, James C. Black, Shannon, NC, David Black, Brooklyn, NY, Thomas McLean (Eloise) of Lumberton, NC, Ronnie Buie, Raleigh, NC, Donald Buie (Becky) Greensboro, NC and Joe P. Mack (Dazza) of Red Springs, NC.  Other Uncles and Aunts are the Lewis’ and Coopers and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
