Doris (Malloy) Melvin

Doris Malloy Melvin was born April 4, 1951 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late

parents of Ora Lee Malloy and Archie B. Malloy who proceeded her in death. On Monday,

November 5, 2018, she was called home to be with the Lord. Throughout her life she worked at

Craft Metal Industries, Roseboro Seafood Restaurant, and Garland Shirt Company.

She leaves to cherish her beloved daughter Stacey Leak (John) of Fayetteville, NC;

four brothers, James Malloy (Helen) of Raeford NC, John Malloy (Michelle) of St. Pauls, NC,

Larry Malloy (Virginia) of Raeford, NC, Ronnie Malloy (Annette) of Raeford, NC; one sister

Vastine Harvey of Raeford, NC; five lovely granddaughters, Jacquanesha, Destane’, Serena

Daejona Leak, and Zshaion Watkins of Fayetteville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, family

and friends. Doris Melvin leaves behind a special friend Herman Cowan and special friends from

Fresenius Kidney Care of Fayetteville.
