Harvey was one of ten children, with his wife, parents and siblings James Archie McRae, Mabel Bullock, Rufus King McRae, Jr., and William McRae preceding him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Barbrette (Richard) White of Winston-Salem, NC; sons Harvey (Dolores) McRae, II of Pikesville, MD and Daniel McRae of Henrico, VA; brothers John D. McRae, Ervin (Vickie) McRae and Charles (Annie) McMillan; and sisters Lula Mae Peterson and Larrine McRae, all of Raeford, NC; sisters-in-law Viola A. Ward, Carolyn J. Amos and Gwendolyn A. Cole, all of Winston-Salem, NC. All of Harvey’s grandchildren survive him, and he relished spending time with: Richard White, II and Bettina White (Brandon); Tamesha McRae; Harvey McRae, III; Ashley McRae; Tamera Jones, Jeriel Ross; great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
