John Edward Johnson

John Edward Johnson was born
on May 23, 1965 and departed this life on March
11, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital. John was
born to the late Marie Johnson of Raeford, NC.
John moved to Charlotte, NC as an infant
with his mother. John attended First Word
Elementary, McClintock and East Mecklenburg
High School. John loved sports and was on the
basketball, football, volleyball and track teams.
John was soft spoken, honest, positive, quite,
very giving and spiritual. He loved the Lord and
boldly spoke of the goodness of the Lord.
John always seemed to be business minded. At
the early age of 26 while working for the Federal
Reserve, he started his own cleaning business. In
his spare time, he promoted Jazz Concerts.
John once said that the Lord gave him a vision
and through his vision, FOSENTT was born,
which is a Polo and T-Shirt business.
After moving to Raeford in 2009, he worked
for Clean Burn Fuel, Eaton Logistics and Valley
Protein as Boiler Tech.
John leaves to cherish his memories: two
sisters, Ann Johnson Frye (Patrick) of Fayetteville,
NC and Jamika Johnson of Charlotte, NC; one
niece, Shambria Walker and one nephew, Kenton
Johnson of Charlotte, NC; four great nieces,
Jaraya and Deondra Johnson of Fayetteville, NC,
Alexis McKnight (Charles) of Hinesville, GA and
Keyarra Johnson of Eielson, Alaska; one great,
great niece, Ivyana Williams of Fayetteville, NC;
childhood friends, Gene Ford, Gene White and Ricardo Jones of Charlotte, NC; a host of other relatives and friends.
