Maxine Louise (Tate) Gibson

Mrs. Maxine Louise Tate Gibson was born in March 16, 1948 in Hoke County to the late Thomas Warren and Willie Grace Tate. On June 7, 2018 God dispatched his heavenly Angels to bring his child home to his mansion on high.

Maxine attended school in Hoke County. She worked many jobs over the span of her life. Before her health started to fail she worked at Autumn Care of Raeford. Maxine enjoyed her job because she was able to give service to the residents of the facility.

Mrs. Gibson leaves to cherish her memories her four children Robert (Mary) Tate of Fayetteville, NC, Vivian Gibson of Raeford, NC, James (Charmain) Gibson of Vass, NC and Travis Gibson of Tabor City. One daughter that preceded her in death Terri Jean Gibson. Fifteen grandchildren and three Great Grand Children. A niece and nephew she helped raise Fonda Jones of Durham, NC and Brian Tate of Raeford, NC; sisters Carolyn Tate of Raeford, NC, Linda Tate of Raeford, NC Bernice (Floyd) Everette of Durham, NC, Jackie (Michael) Buckins of Florida;  brothers Leroy Sturdivent of Wagram, NC, Vernon (Melissa) McLaughlin of Raeford, NC and June Morris; sister-in-law Elizabeth Tate of Fayetteville, NC.
