Alvester McLeod Obituary
Mr. Alvester McLeod, age 58 transitioned on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home. He is the son of the late John Willie and Druelter Lee McLeod. He attended Hoke County Schools and graduated in 1979. He served time in the United States Army. Afterwards, he was employed at Proctor Silex.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his eldest brother, Willie Lee McLeod “Tony.”
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: three brothers, Anthony McLeod, Connell McLeod of Raeford, North Carolina, Ronnie M. McLeod of Laurinburg, North Carolina; one sister Consuela McRae of Prince George, Virginia; three nephews Rodney C. Flowers of Leonardtown, Maryland, Anthony K. McLeod of Raeford, North Carolina, and William A. McPhatter of Hopewell, Virginia; three nieces LaShonda McDuffie of Raeford, North Carolina, Veronica F. McPhatter and Gabriel McPhatter both of Prince George, Virginia; one maternal aunt Minnie J. Bridges (Willie) of Apex, North Carolina; one paternal uncle Lacy McLeod (Louise) of Raeford, North Carolina and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held in the chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 12 Noon.
