Carrie Lou (Davis) Singletary

Mrs. Carrie L. Singletary, 91 transitioned on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst, North Carolina.  She is the daughter of the late Robert and Alva Henry.

She is survived by  her children:  Alma  Carter, Ronald  Carter (Tina), Venetcia Bratcher, Angela Singletary, Isaac Singletary. RAISED AS HER OWN;  Rovenia Covington (Fletcher), Josie Williams (Edward), Pamela McMillian (Michael), Christopher Maynor, Tonya Leggett, Carol Knight,  Adam Knight, Tanisha Rolle (Jamal), Renata Oxendine, Denise Pickens, Amber Woods, and a son Joseph McNair (Jackie).  The children preceding her in death:  Richard Carter, Pauline Jennings, Thomas Carter, Josette Campbell and Susan LeGrande and grandson Todd Carter.  Also preceding her in death 3 brothers, James C. Davis, Bennie Harrington, Eddie Davis and sisters, Susie M. Washington and Margaret Henry.  Also surviving to forever celebrate her life are 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great- great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral services are Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. in Buie Funeral Home Chapel.
