Clarence Herbert Patterson

Mr. Clarence H. Patterson, 61 transitioned on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Hoke Campus in Raeford, N.C.  He is the son of Ms. Evelyn Chester.

Clarence was born in Newark, New Jersey but was raised in Raeford, NC.  He attended school in Hoke County and graduated from Hoke County High School in 1977.  After high school he entered the Army and received many medals. He was employed by the Hoke County Sheriff's Office and the Raeford City Police Department.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lisa.

Clarence leaves to cherish memories his mother, Evelyn Chester; children, Vernica (Shawn) Hamilton, Clarence (moo moo) Patterson, Jr.,  Shawn (Lil Pat) Patterson, Tyshon  (Sckooda) Dockery,  Kedrick Patterson, Katlyn (Katie Mae) Patterson, and one that he treated like his own Robert (Ra Ra)Tucker; brothers, Wayne Chester and James Daniels; sisters,  Leola Hailey, Cynitha Kershaw and Brenda Collier.
