Everlena (Singleton) Greene

Deaconess Everlena Greene, 77 transitioned on Friday, April 17, 2020 in New York. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Richard and Rosa Singleton. Everlena was married to the late Deacon Joseph Greene.

Everlena will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother to her two daughters, Sheila Greene-Page (William) and Iva Greene (Claude Solomon Jr.). She also leaves to cherish precious memories, one sister, Geraldine House; two brothers, Ezekiel Singleton (Geraldine) and Elias Singleton (Lucille); four grandchildren, William III, Justin, Joshua and Nia; sisters-in-law, Marthena Wilkins and Evangelist Florine Singleton; one brother-in-law, Charles Washington; a goddaughter, Sharonda Lawson; her best friend since childhood, Louise Spain; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family members and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Freedom Chapel Church Cemetery on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 2 PM.
