James Cliffton McLean

James Clifton McLean, age 72 transitioned Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Hoke Campus.

James also affectionately known as “JC” was a kind person who enjoyed working in his yard and watching his favorite football team the Washington Redskins. 

James C. McLean was preceded in death by his mom Hilda Mae McLean and his brother Leverne McLean. 

He leaves to cherish his memories to his one and only devoted sister, Magdalene Talley (Dennis); first cousins who were more like siblings, Otto McEachin (Angie), Bernice McEachin, Lucille Fuller (Norman),  and Jacqueline Wood; a host of nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; special friends Katrina McNair, Ms. Evelyn Roberts and Mr. Wilbur.
