Joan Maguire Sessoms

Joan Maguire Sessoms, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed from her earthly to her heavenly home on Christmas Day, 2019, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, who adored her. She was born in Manitowaning, Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada on April 17, 1935. She spent her young life ministering to others and continued that ministry alongside her husband, Bill, for fifty three years. Mom lovingly ministered to others until the very end of her earthly journey out of her deep and abiding love for her Savior and wanting to share His love with all she knew.

She is the dear mother of Melody Ulrich and husband Michael of Lebanon, VA; Bethany Radonavitch and husband Steve of High Point, NC; Marcus Sessoms and wife Sydney of Key West, FL. Loving Grammi to fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Treasured sister to Ron Maguire, Joy Burmaster and husband David, and John Maguire and wife Joanne all of Ontario, Canada. Sweet aunt and cousin.

Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019 in the Raeford Cemetery, Raeford, NC alongside her husband.
