Mr. Joseph Cecil Grimes, Age 67, transitioned on Monday, November 9, 2020 at Accordius Health and Rehab in Aberdeen, NC. Joseph was born in Pitt County on February 26, 1953 to Mr. Joseph and Lucille Grimes, Sr.

Mr. Grimes leaves to cherish memories to his children, Aja J. Grimes, Garnett J. Grimes and LaShanta Carrington; parents, Joseph and Lucille Grimes, Sr.; sisters, Tawana Grimes, Kim Grimes, Rev. Lucy Horne and Jackie Grimes; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Public viewing will be held in the chapel on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 11 am to 12 noon with funeral services beginning at 12 PM .
