Dr. Mary K. Thomas, 89 transitioned on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, North Carolina. She is the daughter of the late Judge Duncan Kemp and Marzetta Cooley Kemp.

Dr. Thomas leaves to cherish memories to her children, Mary Patricia Thomas Long, Jane Fatina Thomas Smith and Vernice Lee Thomas; sister, Lilly Kemp Stewart; brothers, Milton Kemp, Arthur Brooks Kemp and John Mark Kemp; five grandchildren.
