Mr. Willie Prince Malloy Jr. transitioned Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at NC State Veterans Home in Fayetteville, NC.
WP leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Vivian McDougald Malloy, whom he was married to for 55 ½ years. Four children, Terence P. Malloy (Angela) of Fayetteville, GA, Valerie Smith-Kershaw of Raeford, NC, Shanda H. Malloy of the home, Jonathan L. Malloy (Wendy), of Marietta, GA. Six grandchildren, Sharonda Smith-Marcy (Glenn), Terence P. Malloy II, Johnathan M. Pender, Erika N. Malloy, Ciara C. Malloy, who preceded WP in death, Maya S. Malloy and Myles P. Malloy. Two great-grandchildren, Ariana and Cameron Marcy. WP was number seven of nine children and left to cherish to his memory is Verdell Morgan (John), Betty Thompson (Henry), James (Jim) Malloy (Vivian) and Faye Gasaway; he was preceded in death by his siblings, George Malloy, Mary Powell, Pesis Goins, and Irene Burnett. Also to cherish his memory are a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel.
