Buie's Funeral Home is aware of this, however we are still held accountable for the safety of others. We are responsible in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is mandatory to change the way we interact even during times of grieving.

In accordance with the CDC, NC Department of Health and Human Services and North Carolina Board of Funeral Service we ask you to help us in following the 3 W's:

-WEAR. Wear a N95 face mask or other cloth face covering. Everyone entering OUR facilities MUST have a mask on.

-WAIT. Practice social distance and REMAIN at least 6 feet from others.

-WASH. Wash your hands for 20 seconds as often as you can and sanitize frequently. We have sanitizer available at all entrances.

Buie's Funeral Home monitors daily the CDC and mandates set forth from our Governor. We also have staff that are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing our facilities.

About Our Services

Buie's Funeral Home offers both traditional and non-traditional services. Our basic services include the following: Services of the funeral director and staff, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service, arrangement conference with family and responsible parties, arrangements of funeral, preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits, recording vital statistics, preparations and placement of obituary notice, and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in our basic service fees are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishing, inventory costs, record keeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.

The merchandise is shown in a variety of colors and quality. It is our goal to be able to provide and meet everyone's needs at a cost that is with their means.

Did You Know?

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. It is the policy of Buie's Funeral Home to require that you select immediate burial or cremation.
