Alfred "Pop" D. Hart, Jr.

Mr. Alfred David Hart Jr., 95 was the son of the late Alfred David Hart Sr. and Diana Moultrie Hart.  He was born on June 18, 1923 in Aberdeen, NC.   He departed this life On October 2, 2018, at Autumn Care of Raeford. 

Mr. Hart was married to the late Tiny Arnold Hart. He was a dedicated employee at McCain Sanitarian Hospital in Raeford, NC.  He also work with the City of Raleigh, NC at the Utilities Department. 

He received his education at Upchurch High, graduating with the class of 1945.  He played baseball and basketball with the Raeford Eagle and was a school bus driver.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters and son Patricia McPhatter, Shirley Hart, Lucille Chalmers and Harold McKinnon of Raeford, NC;  Loise Morgan of Creekmore, North Carolina, Marie Shaw of Brooklyn, New York, Thelma Martin of Carthage, NC and Pearl (Claude) Herring of Brooklyn, New York; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grands, 4 great great grands; two special grands, Jordyn and Jewel McQueen Blue.
