Sierra Julisa Tillman

Sierra Julisa Tillman, age 31 of Raeford, NC transitioned on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.  She is the daughter of Ms. Deborah Tillman and Mr. Ricky Thomas.

Sierra attended Hoke County High School and was a proud member of the graduating class of 2006.  She continued her education at Kings College in Charlotte, NC. She graduated with an associate’s degree in medical assistance.  Sierra was currently working for the United States Postal Service.  She always showed her creativity in every avenue she encountered in life. No one met her without being exposed to her genuine love for life and all it had to offer.

Sierra leaves to cherish her memories:  Kamryn Shavon Tillman, a devoted daughter whom she loved with all that was within her; her mother Debra Tillman; her father, Ricky Thomas; Godchildren: Ti’Nasia Hines, Josiah Jacobs, and Michael Jacobs; God Parents:  Jerry and Deborah Ross, Natasha Villines, and Ruby Goodman; God sisters:  Jessica Ross-Evans(Christian), Jaquira Dixon, and Danisha Allen; God brothers: Jeremy and Emmanual Ross, and JaQuan Dixon; Grandfather, Ernest Davis, Sr; Aunts and Uncles:  Annie Tillman, Terry Tillman, Carol Dixon (Sidney), Ernest Davis, Jr.(Laura), Ernest McLean (Tammy), Anthony Davis (Rosalie), Ernest J Davis, Keisha Cooper (Terry), Antionnette Adams (Creg), Dorothy Knight, Doris  Cunningham(James), Diane Emanuel, Freddie Tillman, Crain Tillman (Mary), Nezzie Ferguson, Irma Turnage, Helen King, Hattie Waller, Lillian Johnson (Richard),  Juanita Grier and Darlene Gollman.  Sierra also leaves behind a special friend Maurice McRae and friends that were dear and devoted to her; Shantell Walker (Heather), Nicole Whiteside, LaVonda Daniels, and Javonda Daniels and other relatives and friends.
