Edward McPhatter, Jr. Obituary
Mr. Edward McPhatter, Jr., 68 transitioned on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at the Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He is the son of the late Katherine Campbell Gillis and was born on February 3, 1952.
Edward attended Hoke County Schools and graduated in the class of 1970. He worked for at Southern National Bank of Raeford and Cape Fear Valley Medical Center before entering the United States Air Force.
He leaves to cherish memories his siblings, Evelina Baylor, Rev. Larry McPhatter, Lenora McPhatter, Ellen Carpenter, Joyce Pugsley and Rev. Alex Campbell, Jr.; aunts, Dorothy Blue, Blanche Farmer and Elder Rovenia McNair; three brothers-in-law; two sister-in-law and a host of other relatives.
Memorial services will be held in the chapel on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at 1 PM.
