Ervin McRae

Mr. Ervin McRae is the son of the late Rufus King Sr. and Rebecca Peterkin McRae.  

He attended the Hoke County Public Schools.  During his life he worked for Burlington Industries, House of Raeford, Proctor Silex, South Hoke School and Hillcrest-Scurlock Water Department.

Mr. McRae is survived by his wife, Vickie McRae; daughters, Abigail Person, Gwendolyn Jones, Alice McRae, Larissa Campbell (Lavell) and Yondell Hailey (Eric); son, Charles McRae; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Larrine McRae; brothers, John Dee McRae and Charles McMillian (Annie); a host of other relatives and friends.
