George Allen Dobbins

Mr. George Allen Dobbins, son of the late George and Sarah Dobbins.  He was born on January 4, 1946 in Candor, NC.

He received his education in Raeford, NC and later moved to High Point, NC and married the late Owilla Jones Dobbins.

His hobbies were fishing, gardening, going to church and spending time with his family.  He was a loving father and a big supporter for his daughters, Sharon and Owilla; the best grandfather to his grandchildren.  Always spreading his love and joy George spent his last days spending time with his grands and great grands.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gail Alien Roper; son, Ricky Jones; sister, Johnsie Louise Dobbins; brothers, Jessie Dobbins and James Dobbins.

His memories will always be cherished by his children, Sharon Hill (Hervy), Owilla Dobbins McLean (Jackie Lee); son, William Keith Chapman; aunt, Lena Mae Simpson; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; other family and friends.
