George Jounier Jackson

Mr. George Jounier Jackson, age 89 transitioned on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at home.  He was born on January 28, 1930 is the adopted son of the late Deroader and Bessie Jackson. In 1962 he married Grace Helen Hunt.

George was educated in the Hoke County School System and worked as a Foreman for Four County traveling to repair homes.  He is survived by his stepson, Evander Hunt; cousin, George Purcell (Victoria); sisters-in-law, Christine Everett (Lacy), Lillie Brunson and Thelma Hunt; brother-in-law, Neil Hunt (Eva) and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Millside Divine Pentecostal Holiness Church, Red Springs, NC at 3 PM.
