Harry Lee Purcell

Harry Lee Purcell, 62 transitioned life on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home in Raeford, North Carolina. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Thelma Purcell, and two brothers; Earl Thomas Purcell and Leonard Joe Purcell.

Those left to cherish Harry’s fond  and special memories are his two daughters; Joyce McLean Hardy ( James) of Greenville, N.C., and Whitney Lee of Florida; one son; Harry Tavares Murray ( Patricia) of  Coats, N.C.; eleven grandchildren, Teshiya, Jare, Deonte, Persophanie, Nicholas, Tavares, Amani, Jayden, Yasmin, Aviyonna, Tavara and Sherkera; six great-grandchildren, Queen, Renae, Josia, River, Greyson and Ka’Mara; three brothers; James Purcell (Alice) of Raeford, N.C., Henry Purcell (Shirley) of Rockingham, N.C. and Gerome Purcell (Debra) of Raeford, N.C.; one sister, Gloria McMillan (William) of Fayetteville, N.C.; aunt;  Ioma Lockridge of  New York and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Monday, June 22, 2020 at 2:30 PM and the burial will at McLauchlin Chapel Cemetery.
