Lona Covington Obituary
Ms. Lona Mae Covington, age 88, transitioned on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC. She is the daughter of the late Ellis and Annie Mae Covington.
She is survived by her sister Thelma Covington Lyons of Brooklyn, NY in addition to her nieces, nephews & cousins. Mr & Mrs Robert Jackson of Raeford.
She was predeceased by siblings Minnie C. Fuller Alston, Louise C Fox, Eleanor C McDougal, Muzetta C Donaldson, Ernest Covington, James Covington, George Covington, Henry Covington and Sylvester (Phil) Covington.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 26th at 1:00 PM at Silver Grove Church Cemetery.
