Mother Betty Delaney was married to the late Charles “Buck” Delaney, who preceded her in death. To this union,

they had two sons, Charles and Dennis.

She was a faithful member of St. James United Church of God, where she served on

the Mother’s Board, Missionary Department, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Usher’s Board, the Women’s

Ministry and the Loving Sister’s Choir.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret, Ginger Bell and Bessie; five brothers, Hosies, Howard, Albert, Cleo and Robert.

Mother Delaney leaves to forever cherish precious memories: two sons, Charles J. (Rodeline) Delaney

of Atlanta, GA and Dennis (Lagranda) Delaney of Frederickburg, VA; one sister, Doretha Rice of

Stanfford, Conn.; two brothers, Harvey MCDuffie of Raeford, NC and Leroy (Betty) McDuffie of Raeford,

NC; ten grandchildren, Jonathan, Siovhan, Justin, Abbi-gail, Diavian, Bria, Markel, D’onna and Keenan;

one great grand, Armair; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
